Stadthaus Mariazell

Dobré poloha v centru města, parkování zdarma v zahradě u domu. Útulný historický dům. Dobře vybavená kuchyňka. Čisto a uklizeno.

Zvony z vedle stojícího kostela od brzkého rána do pozdního večera :-) a ráno těsně vedle oken silný provoz, kdy rodiče vysazují děti do školy za rohem.

It was a self catering accomodation - the kitchen area was great, it was very well stocked. The apartment is one of the oldest non religious buildings in Mariazell and it was a privilege to be able to stay there. It is only a couple of doors down from the fabulous basilica, which we visited a few times. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and hotels within very easy walking distance. The bus station is within 10 minutes walk and the railway station within 20 minutes walk - very easy to get to on foot when leaving Mariazell, but you may need to get the bus from the bahnhof to the apartment on arrival as it us up hill. The chair lift up the mountain is within easy walking distance. We took the chair lift up and walked down. It took about an hour. There are marked walks to do whilst at the top. Mariazell is a beautiful, picture post card, small town which was very quiet when we arrived on 22nd June, but was bustling as we left on 26th June.

At the apartment we were asked to wear slippers to protect the ancient wooden floorboards in the apartment. These were provided in a cupboard near the entrance door. However, they had been used. We thought this was unhygenic , so we wore our socks instead. We thought it may have been better to ask guests to bring their own slippers or socks with them so rhey don't have to wear used slippers.

Nincs redőny az ablakokon, éjjel a lámpa, hajnalban a világosság miatt nem lehet sokáig aludni.

Die Jugendstilwohnung ist einfach traumhaft schön, geräumig, mit voll ausgestatteter Küche, 2 Wohnzimmern und mehreren Schlafzimmer. Die Bäder sind wunderschön verfliest und alles ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist ein schönes Haus 1 Minute von der Basilika entfernt mit großem Balkon, Sonnenschirm, Tisch und Sesseln. Holz-Fußboden, schöne Teppiche, hohe Räume, gemütliche Couchen, warm eingeheizt (es hat geregnet), interessanter Bücherschrank, Grundausstattung in der Küche mit Kaffee, Tee, Salz, Olivenöl, Essig etc. Wir durften früher anreisen und bis zu Mittag bleiben. Es war einfach die perfekte Unterkunft mitten im Zentrum aber in der Seitenstraße ruhig gelegen. Wunderschön!
