Trulli di Bacco

Maurine et Julien sont très accueillants. Le lieu est comme hors du temps et très plaisant. Nous avons reçu d’excellents conseils que ce soit pour les visites à faire ou les restaurants à tester. Bref, on ne peut qu’aimer cet endroit !

This little Trullo was the perfect home for 3 nights. it was in a great, quiet location about 15min drive from Locorotondo and 5mins from the local burger, bar and minimart. Bead was super comfy, shower was good and the outside area was gorgeous. Could have sat and read and chatted their for hours on end. Go in the right season and you get to pick some fresh fruit for breaky or a snack; we got some mulberries, figs, apricots and cherries.

The wifi was down while we were there which was slightly annoying as we didn’t have cell service out there. But it’s totally not the owners fault, and they tried hard to fix it! No spare toilet paper or any tea-towels but definitely not deal breakers. Roof in the bathroom and doorways were slightly low for me (5’9) but the bedroom (trullo) and living room were definitely high enough. Would loveee to come and stay here with a group of friends or family anytime!

AirCon didnt work properly in our Trulli

I absolutely loved the outdoors of the place. There was a wonderful garden where to eat grapes and figs. If You are into barbeque, there is everything to make that happen and we had a chance to have a lovely dinner at home. There is a hammock where to take a nice nap in the day time or evening or just enjoy your time, lovely patio where to have breakfast. The house had the towels and a hair dryer and most of the necessary house hold items to have breakfast/lunch or dinner in the house! Thats definitely a great bonus. The host was lovely and gave us some great tips overall.

I believe there is room to make the place nicer overall. Unfortunately the shower was not working very well! If You are planning to book the house for 4 adults, I dare you to think twice. Unfortunately french bed (1 and half) is definitely not suitable for 2 people, but I guess I could have been careful myself when thinking of going all in with the smaller sort of a bed. Overall the furniture is a little old, which I don't usually mind but the kitchen could go be a little better. Even a change of color and some personality brought in there would make a great difference. The bathroom is quite small, but said that, there isn't much that can done about that.
