Wonderful place

First of all, I want to thank the host of the house, as she helped us get to the apartment. Nancy was very responsive and answered all our questions, including how to get to the beach, the grocery store, cafés, and more. Whenever we needed something extra, it was taken care of easily and quickly. The property is well maintained, with nice relaxation areas, and our room was cleaned daily. Our apartment was on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the sea, so we could enjoy a beautiful view :) It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the beach, where you can relax for free with your own towel and umbrella. The sea is incredibly clean, with a sandy beach. In short, the hosts are very friendly, the apartment is clean and fully equipped, the sea is crystal clear, and it’s about a 10-minute walk to the town center with plenty of cafés, most of which serve delicious food. So I can recommend this place :)

Everything about Mario’s House is amazing! First I’ll start with the lovely owners - Nancy and Mario. Nancy is the woman who takes care about everything, she welcomed us, she was always available for questions (if we had any), I even asked her for safety needle and she gave me 4, which was really nice of her. Also she told us many beaches, town, villages, restaurants to visit and what to do, what to see, which helped us a lot, during our holiday. Second the rooms are being cleaned Every single day, the towels are being changed every second day and the bed sheets are being changed every third day - it’s basically a hotel! And I’m not even going to talk about how clean and nice the apartments are - really beautiful, comfortable and just like the photos - even better in reality! Third - the apartment has everything you need - bedroom (with TV), bathroom, huge terrace (with sea view), and kitchen (with big fridge, hotplates, dining service, cups, plates, glasses - everything). And the house is very beautiful, with really big garden with green grass and flowers. Fourth the location is amazing! The house is near many small towns, like Afytos (10 min on foot), Kallithea (10 min on foot the other direction) and etc. Also if you are with a car, you can visit a few bigger cities like Thessaloniki (just 1 hour). So if want to have a great summer holiday on the first Halkidiki peninsula - I highly recommend Mario‘s House and we‘ll definitely visit them again!

Poor and a bit stressful at the beginning.

No breakfast provided

Less insects. The property has an ant infestation. I had to treat the issue myself. Luckily, there was a shop nearby that had insecticide.

Nice and quiet

Very clean place, nice a quite location. I was positively surprised, they were changing the bad sheets every day, even washed our dishes. The owner is very nice and helpful. Definitely worth staying there.

Great experience

The location is close to the beach (about a 5–10 minute walk). You can also drive there – there are free parking spots available. The beach is next to a bar, has sunbeds, and the water is crystal clear (no special shoes needed). The place was very clean, quiet, and fully equipped (with AC and parking, for example). The host is very friendly and helpful if you need anything

Cozy stay with beautiful scenery.

Our stay at the Garden House was wonderful! The place itself is beautifully designed, with a modern room that felt cozy and inviting. The daily cleaning service was a nice touch, keeping everything tidy throughout our stay. The real highlight for us was the garden—it’s absolutely stunning and adds such a peaceful vibe to the property. We also loved spending time on the balcony, where we could enjoy the beautiful views of both the sea and the garden. Nancy, the host, was fantastic! She was always there to help us with anything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was great too, just a short walk to the beach, and having a parking space provided was super convenient. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Relaxing stay in amazing Afitos

We were greeted by our host Nancy, she's so friendly, kind & helpful. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with a large garden and bbq area. The most beautiful village Afitos was only 10-15 mins away by walk. Nancy suggested some very good restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay here, it's very relaxing and quiet, thank you 😊

Absolutely loved it!

We absolutely loved our stay at Mario's Garden House. Nancy is a great host, who made us feel very much at home and gave us great tips for nice restaurants and beaches to go to. Our balcony had a terrific view overlooking the sea, with sun in the morning and shadow in the afternoon, and there were several places to hang out or bbq in the lovely garden in the back. The room is nice, with really good beds and a small kitchen. We really appreciated the daily cleaning. The location is a nice 15 min walk from the town and a really nice beach. Nancy thanks again for your hospitality and we hope to come again!

Great studio and friendly attitude.

Very кind hostess, always ready to help with information or anything else. The studio is clean, pleasant, in a new building, it has a terrace with a seaview, 800 m from Afitos. A prerequisite for a pleasant evening walk.

Confortable stay with sea view

Location is a little outside the Afitos village, but in a 10min walk distance. It has all the basic amenities in shower (shampoo, soap, towels, walking shower with glass curtain, hair dryer), Kitchen (hot plate, tablewear, kettle, table, chairs), air conditioning. Also, it has a balcony with table and chairs overlooking the sea. The owner is very helpful and nice.

Nice studio, well equipped, with a beautiful view to the sea (we were on an upper floor). Bed is good. Very clean and good service. Parking on the property. Green area. Just a few minutes walk to Afytos (ca. 15 minutes) and the beach (max. 10 minutes). Nice location. Everybody was very to helpful and friendly.
