The cottage at the lake is perfect if you're looking for a place where you want to rest, recharge and enjoy Småland's nature. It's super quiet and you will hear and see a lot of wildlife. We especially enjoyed rowing the little boat on the lake and watching the sunset or exploring the small island in the middle of the lake. Vimmerby and all the attractions like Astrid Lindgrens värld, Kathult, Bullerbyn, etc. are just 10-30 min from the cottage. Nilla, the host, was super friendly and sweet. She will always make sure that you are happy during your stay.

Lakeside

Close to the boat. Seemingly a lot of mosquitoes by the lake bank, but it turns out just fine. Not a single bite. Really nice place for fishing.

Nature Experience in Sweden

The location was quite awesome. It’s next to the water and you can use the boat to paddle to this small island at the lake. There is a fireplace in the house and you got a coffeemaker in the kitchen and we also had some fishing nets. Fishing is free so you could catch some fish if you are good at it.

At the end of our stay we had problems with the water because it was a little bit sticky and you could not drink it, but somehow it changed quite fast to normal again.

Die Endreinigung musste selbst durchgeführt werden, ansonsten hätten wir 40€ bezahlen müssen. Das war so nicht angegeben.

Wspaniały odpoczynek w bliskim kontakcie z naturą

Bardzo podobał mi się widok z tarasu, jezioro i piękna, malownicza okolica. Domek umiejscowiony jest lekko z boku, dzięki czemu można odpocząć od codziennego zgiełku i ludzi. Pani Gospodyni była przemiła, interesujaca się czy czegoś nam nie brakuje. Polecam miłośnikom wędkowania oraz fanom pisarki Atrid Lindgren, ponieważ domek okazał się świetnym miejscem aby zwiedzić miejsca, z którymi związana była pisarka zanim zamieszkała w Sztokholmie.

Enskildhet, natur, återhämtning, lugn och ro.

Lugnet, naturen, sjön, enskildhet. Uteköket, bryggan, lilla stranden några meter ifrån. Djuren omkring. Tomten var inhägnad så hunden kunde springa fritt.

Stora spindelnät på ytterväggarna på husen. Väldigt otäckt om man är rädd för spindlar. Vi fick lov börja med att sopa bort dem. Svårt att bada från bryggan då det är gyttje-botten som man sjunker ner i. Vi badade istället från en liten strand ca 50 m bort med stolar, bord och en liten flotte. Dåligt städat.

Super für Angler und Naturfreunde

Einsame Lage am See mit Ruderboot und Steg, den Alltagsstreß hinter sich lassen

Außentoilette etliche Meter entfernt und nachts ( im Juni) zu kalt. Die Heizplatte haben wir erst bei der Abreise entdeckt. Bettdecken dünn und Kopfkissen ziemlich verbraucht. Bettbezüge hatten wir ja mit

Schwedischer Sommertraum

Die Lage des kleinen Häuschen direkt am See mit Steg und eigenem Ruderboot sowie Outdoordusche und Outdoorküche waren ein absolutes Highlight. Ein paar Meter weiter entfernt ist ein weiterer Steg mit Badezugang. Bei schlechterem Wetter könnte man aber auch drinnen kochen und die Stadt Vimmerby ist nur 15 Minuten entfernt.

Die Matratzen waren leider recht dünn und durchgelegen und das Hochbett ist für zwei Erwachsene recht sperrlich.
