Lovely apartment, air conditioning worked well, great shower and fully equipped kitchen. We loved the swimming pool! Onsite are some long term rentals and they were lovely people to meet too. We were well looked after by the groundsman, daily cleaners and gate staff. Whilst we were there it was clear to see how well the whole site is tended too, with new grass laid around the pool. We used this as a base and visited flamengo (12 mins by car) and Tamaringo (45 mins by car) lots. I thought we'd drive further up and down coast but it was too much driving for us.

The apartment was further away than I expected from the rest of the town. It was too hot to walk so if you didn't have a car you'd been stuck. Be careful which local beach you go to, one (pensa) is lovely, the other (potrero) is not! Next time (loved Costa Rica so will definitely go back if chance) I'd probably stay closer to Tamaringo (especially if wanting to go out at night)
