Had the adventurous spirit that I look for in hostels, but of course it's better in summer.

Really fun & kind owner and people staying there. Great vibes, lots of fun sitting in the veranda, talking & drinking. Owner recommended a tour to a nearby monastery and let me borrow a bike for free, and told me about an amazing nearby restaurant, and made himself available to help me get a package from the post that was not arriving.

They have some dogs that barked one night, and the kitchen didn't feel inviting. Warmer lighting, shinier cookware, a tea strainer, and for the stove to warm faster would've been nice. Also, I stayed in the room in front of the reception desk, and the door has glass, so light shines through from the main hall, and there are no curtains on the beds, so I wished that I'd brought a sleep mask.

Hostel better than hotel

I like the hostel supervisors staff, they are all very kind. Also, the visitors there from Europe,South Americans and other countries they were respectful. ++Kitchen and toilets was very good as well.

Breakfast was same dish every morning, but it was good, I just request to change it at least once.

Safe, homey and central

Felt like a slice of home being at this hostel. The family that run it are so accomodating and made me feel very safe and welcomed. There is a free breakfast which was an omlette and bread with jam. It was a nice social hostel. The owner helped us organise transport to our bus. Overall loved my stay here and would 100% stay again

Only thing is that there is only one shared shower so had to wait but there is toilets out side. But very good value for money

Great spot for a short stay

The owner was soooo lovely and very knowledgeable for great places to eat and see! Great location by the sea!

We rented the bikes and there was only 1 good bike. The others felt like they were riding us instead 😂😂

Super nice and so friendly owners!

Super nice hostel with the friendliest staff, the owners really care about the good vibe and helped us out with whatever we needed! The outside space has many seating areas and also a bar. Every morning we got served breakfast for free, which was a big bonus!

The only bad thing was the cleanliness in the main bathroom. The toilet wouldn’t flush sometimes, but other than that it was ok!

A very nice and affordable stay very close to the seaside

The rooms were clean and with air con. Every bed had an electric socket next to it. Staff were nice and they even had a very handy bar. Bonus points for Festim, the best host you can expect to have

Great place to hang out and beaches are just okay

Owner wife starting making breakfast for everyone, small omelet with fresh bread and jam. Nice porch with many places to sit, along with patio and bar area to spend time in when not at beach. easy walk to nearby beaches and local bus stops nearby. Old town not too far away. Hostel dogs seems to run the place, but can get carried away with protection especially during the night when barking non stop. Meet lots of interesting travellers.

Sweet, welcoming, homey hostel.

Very sweet place. The bar set up outside is great and the sofa’s and chairs are a great addition for people to sit and talk. I liked that there was a curfew for noise! The owners are lovely. Super helpful and friendly. They helped me with bus times and locations and a paragliding trip. The kitchen is quite big and the cupboards are labelled with what’s inside which was very helpful. The shower is good, but the floor did get quite wet, however the owners were consistently on top of it with a mop and towels on the floor. I stayed in the private room and the bed was huge! Plenty of space and a small chest of drawers which I didn’t use, but thought it was a nice addition. The location is great. A bit out of the way so can be tricky to find, but has huge lettering that says hostel so it’s obvious once you see it. This hostel was lovely and felt very homey. Would definitely return when I come back to Vlorë

Enjoyable, good location, laid back, volunteer did not provide everything needed during off-season.

There was no breakfast offered. Location was great. Festim was quite helpful and gave lots of suggestions for local places to go to get traditional food, good coffee, cocktails, and dessert, with varying price ranges. He gave interesting information about the history of Vlorë that I appreciated.

The volunteer at the hostel was not very available to help, she was not present for check-in for me or other guests. Festim had to show up for her to help with check-in. The volunteer did not lock the door at night as I was told she would, and this did not make me feel very secure. Breakfast was not provided as it said it would be on the listing.

Lovely place, lovely people

The kindness and friendliness of the owners!! Festin is truly an exceptional host, always willing to help with anything I needed, and he also makes the most delicious coffee in Albania :) As for the hostel, everything was great. The kitchen, the common areas, and the little bar outside are warm spaces that invite you to share and meet other guests. I was lucky enough to stay with lovely people. And the location! Easy to access and very close to the bus stop that takes you to the city center. I definitely recommend it!

Pretty good and good vibes.

The staff is very friendly, they changed me to another room without any problem because someone was snoring in the first room. The hostel serves a normally homemade breakfast with homelet, cucumber and coffee or tea. The location is very good, 2 blocks from the beach. You can rent bicycles at the hostel and have access to towels for a small amount of money. You feel comfortable in the place, there are a good vibes.

The beds have no curtains, the top beds have no protection which makes you feel like you can fall. A small shelf is missing on each bed to put cell phones and other items.

Staff were so lovely and caring, and the vibe of the hostel was impeccable! I really loved my stay and the facilities were great!!

Air conditioning only on in the evening, made it impossible to be in the rooms past 9 am without sweating.

Superb

Thanks to these people from the picture for keeping such a place in the beautiful city of Vlore. Real hostel atmosphere with interesting people and stories. I really liked that there are 3 toilets, there are fans around (as it was incredibly hot in the city) and lockers for storing things. For five euros you can get a laundry service or rent a bike. As well a cozy bar where you can get some drink before midnight. Also I was surprised as I didn’t notice in my booking that breakfast is included and pretty good. Special thanks to Tomi for his hospitality!

Great hostel!

Staff was super kind and helpful, even the 2 small dogs they have in the property. Great location, just one block away from the main avenue and the beach, but still quiet. The outdoors area is very pleasant, as well as the bar at very fair prices. Great place to meet other travelers or just chat around. Rooms were spacious and tidy. One of the best hostels I've stayed in the region.

Location is perfect, a couple blocks away from the Main street and the beach. The outdoor bar area is nice and the hostel overall has a good atmosphere.

The room I stayed in felt very cramped. It had 3 bunk beds but really should’ve only had 2. Still, the bed was comfortable.

Disappointing

The owner Festim is welcoming and knowledgeable. Nice patio in front of the house to meet other guests.

Dorms have glass doors: by 7am they are as bright as day. This could be fixed easily. The kitchen is very bleak (no window, light is a single dangling lightbulb, no ventilation so quote smelly) and there were ants walking on the counter. Matresses and bedding were very used Although the owners can't do anything about it, the hostel is in the middle of a large construction site and is surrounded by high rise buildings. The neighborhood is a bit depressing. The volunteer working there was pretty useless and not very nice. Breakfast was the poorest of my Albanian trip so far. They have two small dogs. They are nice, but it could have been mentioned. Lots of rubbish laying around in the garden (trash bags, pieces of wood, cans of paint, etc.)

The location is really nice,however the route was muddy due to construction going on in the next building. The owner was very kind and helped me with places to see in vlore.

The room i was allotted wasn't very clean. I do not however blame it on the owner as it depends on the people living in the room. The bathroom was very untidy, stinking and unclean even though there were hardly 5 people in the hostel. Again, it is the responsibility of hostelers to clean after using it, however i think it could have been cleaner with some rules put in place, to be followed after every use. I did not use the 2 toilets outside the building as i was there for just one night.
