Le Rose di Modica

Très bel emplacement en campagne, dans un joli jardin, bon emplacement pour la voiture même si ce n'était pas fermé. Gentil attention de fournir du café et des choses à manger pour le premier petit déjeuner. Il serait préférable de mettre la TV sur un bras dans la chambre, car impossible de la regarder sur le petit divan. Nous ne la regardons surtout que pendant les vacances...

Le matelas n'était pas de grande qualité, c'est la première fois que nous avons eu mal au dos, en de nombreux séjours dans beaucoup de lieux différents.

Wonderful little apartment with a view of Modica from the relaxing patio. Apartment was spotless, well kept and comfortable. There was milk and juice in the fridge and packaged breads and pastries on the table. We don't speak Italian, but the owner, Antonella, is good with google translate. Her daughter, Veronica, speaks english and is a text or call away. The family was very welcoming and thoughtful. We even came back in the afternoon to find a freshly baked lemon cake waiting for us! You'll need a car to get there, but it's a quick 10 minutes into Modica and there is a private parking spot. It was one of those places we easily could have stayed another couple of days.

We arrived at 11 pm and had a very warm welcome. Due to the late arrival we had no chance to get some food for the next morning. To our surprize the host already provided some basic food for us (breakfast with jam and Nutella, milk, fruit juice, yoghurt, fruits, coffe, tea...) so we were ready to start the next day perfectly. There was always someone available if there would have been questions. Bed was comfortable and the flat was very clean.
