Beautiful location, scenery, great food. Lots of wildlife.

Food is lovely but takes a very long time.

Very quiet except for the sound of the ocean and nature which was great ! Very clean . The owner who was there and the staff were very accommodating. There is a restaurant Caribbean Kitchen onsite which was very good. There was everything that you need if you planned to prepare your own meals.

The water pressure gets very low at certain times of the day.

Lovely healthy food in restaurant Great staff Tap water is drinkable and filter jugs are also provided (although filters could do with changing) Beautiful gardens with lovely flowers and birds Great yoga studio with views over village/bay (although the music can mean it’s not a zen experience)

Things you should know: Basic accommodation. Note open sided living space. Great for feeling part of the environment/using as a hide for bird watching, but means birds, chickens and other animals (including Carol the pet cat) come and go freely. This does mean waking up to find guano in the kitchen in the morning. And the cleaning service is only every 3 days Food - basic items in supermarket, limited fresh produce. A few restaurants - non “high end”. Only a couple serve decent healthy food. All relatively expensive for what you get Cash - required in many locations, atm in village not working Tours - relatively expensive day trips requiring cash (option to use atms around island) Tranquil fishing village - with intermittent high volume reggae (and other styles) played that can be heard up in the retreat Air conditioning unit had universal remote, which was temperamental at best

Lovely views and tucked away in our own Oasis. Wildlife galore!

They didn’t change the towels, we had to ask and it was done immediately. Little things like more soap and few extra teabags midway through. But was sorted when we asked. The restaurant staff were not the most helpful either. Reception staff were fantastic and the yoga lady was awesome.
