We were welcomed by Zoran who was friendly and helpful. Although a little way from the old town - a 10 minute walk, the bus station was close by and the area was ok. The apartment was large, clean and the kitchen facilties were good. Large comfortable bed. Bathroom was also a decent size and the shower worked well. Washing machine was a bonus. Air con worked well, and it was good to have a mosquito screen to the patio door if you wanted the door open The patio area opened out to a nice garden and was pleasant to sit outside.

Just little niggles, but didnt detract from our stay .... The apartment was quite dark inside, even with the outside door screen and mosquito screen open - you needed the lights on all the time. The apartment block was a bit depressing and the entrance not overly welcoming. There appeared to be a derelict unit to our right. The knob to the security door to the apartment was a bit fiddly to turn - there was a knack to open it. The 4th of 6 B&B's of our Croatian holiday, and again, bath towels that were too small to wrap around you. Although a nice city, we were surprised by the amount of graffiti in Split. Since Croatia joined the euro, prices are on the up, and Split is no longer a cheap destination, in my opinion.

this is a gem apartment, the location is nearby the old city (just 10 minutes walking) and have a lot of facilities nearby, including restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacy, bank and all necessary things to make your trip feels like home. the host is very sweet and also very helpful. the apartment's terrace has an amazing view and it is perfect to slow breakfasts and calm nights.
