Gulnara Guesthouse - Hostel

The guesthouse is well located by Chorsu Bazaar. The room was comfortable and had strong AC, which was critical in the crazy Tashkent heat. Breakfast was divine and the owners were lovely, especially with my 3am arrival! Very nice seat overall!!

It looks much better than in the photos on Booking.com. The hosts are great, very welcoming and helpful – they speak English. Zero problems with a very late check-in (a kind and patient man waited for us at night). The breakfast is very tasty, served in a very cozy yard - no problems with refills and extra bread. The beds are comfortable, even for very tall people. AC easily cooled the entire room, it's cleverly secured not to blow cold air straight into you. The guesthouse is located within a walking distance to Chorsu bazaar.

Great location, friendly, warm welcome, delicious breakfast

Very spacious and comfortable room (I booked a single with bathroom and got a double). Big and quiet courtyard where you can relax, get a tasty breakfast and leave your luggage after checkout at 12. I only saw the owner very shortly at check-in and -out, so no real contact but friendly and good English.

The comments about the location in other reviews may be a bit deceiving. The guesthouse is indeed very easy to find from Tinchlik metro station, but it's a 1,3 km walk ...and this counts if you have heavy luggage😚 The host communicated this very clearly, so it was as I expected, but if I would have only read the reviews I would have thought it was closer. Chorsu bazar is within 10 minutes of walking.
