Rose Apart

We spent two weeks here and were genuinely happy that we chose Rose Apart. The owner, Suleiman, is one of the kindest hosts we have ever met. He is always happy to help, but never intrusive. During our entire stay he completely respected our privacy, yet every time we had a question or needed help he responded immediately. Before our flight he even helped us arrange a taxi at the last minute, which we really appreciated. The first thing we noticed about the hotel was how peaceful it is. It is quiet, surrounded by greenery, clean and very relaxing. The rooms are spacious, bright and comfortable. We had everything for cooking like a kettle, a pan, kitchen utensils and so on. The garden is beautiful and full of flowers and greenery. There are lemon trees growing right in the courtyard, which gives the whole place a lovely atmosphere. A neatly mowed lawn is great for small kids who want to play and run around. Everything you need is within easy walking distance. There is a small shop just around the corner, and the centre of Sarıgerme with its restaurants and cafés is only about a 7-minute walk away. It would take around 15 minutes to reach the sea on foot. Because the hotel is surrounded by nature, we saw things we had never expected. During our stay we came across turtles, a hedgehog, lots of birds and even a firefly. It made our holiday feel even more special. This is the kind of hospitality that cannot be taught. It feels genuine. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We will remember our time in Sarıgerme with great warmth, and if we come back one day, we would be very happy to stay here again.

Well, there was nothing which I would not like but for a few days, there were a few blue vosp-like insects coming through the ventilation. They were annoying but not dangerous and were trying to leave the room through the balcony. As soon as we opened the door they would leave.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. Even though we speak different languages they are used to using online translators, so it was easy to communicate in case of necessity. The location is brilliant - 10/15 minutes walk to the beach, lots of picturesque trails in the surrounding mountains. The beds are very comfortable. And we really enjoyed the backyard full of wildlife like hedgehogs or tortoises where we used to have our dinners

The small house, we stayed in, is spacious and bright, the owner is very nice. You can enjoy beautiful mountain views, have your meal in the garden and relax, it is really peaceful. Shops, cafes and restaurants are 10 min walk, also there is a very good beach nearby. Easy to park your car, if you have one. Excellent value for its price.

WI-FI did not work at the small house during our stay. Would be great to have some shelves in the bathroom for toiletries. You may need a warm blanket during the night if you often feel cold. The sun could wake you up very early as the curtains allow daylight.
