Suleyman was the best host, he was at hand from start to finish, nothing was to much trouble, we would communicate over What’s app and I would Google translate as his English was not good. I was happy to do this. I was due to arrive around 5am so thought I won’t book a room for that night as it’s wasted really, I would of headed to a beach and slept there, as I Have done previous times I’ve been away, the day before Suleyman messaged to say the room would be ready as no one was staying that night so I could go straight in! Amazing !! He sent a video of where the room was as it was going to be dark and he was coming to be asleep, this was so helpful. The room had air-conditioning that was a god send as it got really warm in the room, it was basic but there was a washing machine if you needed it, a fridge, shower, toilet, bed and some drawers, plates and cutlery were there too. Also a hairdryer in the bottom drawer. The accommodation was about a 7 minute walk from the beach to the right as you come out of the main road by the taxis. This cost 70tl to go on, beds were 350tl, the sand was nice and water was lovely. Turn left at the end by taxis it’s a 5-7 minute walk walk to the main strip with shops and restaurants and continue to the right about another 10-15 minutes is another beach, this is free. There a Akil Market right out side with limited stock but same price as Migros which is off the strip. He takes card too. Opposite the Taxis you can stand there to get Dolumus to Ortaca which is the main station where you can get Dolumus to all over the area, (Marmaris, Olu Denis, Dalyan, Dalaman) they cost around 80TL. There always one large and one small towel for a shower. I was worried for my transfer on return as the address didn’t seem right, Suleyman called the company for me to confirm the address which was so kind.

Sadly a couple of things I didn’t like. These are minor issues. As long as you’re aware you will enjoy your stay at a great price too. 1. The bed was a bit hard, it would of been nice and a bit more hygienic if a matteress topper was on the matteress and maybe more than one blanket, maybe an extra sheet then the thin blanket as the blanket could get quite itchy especially when sun burnt (I should of asked because i think Suleyman would of supplied one) again I think more for hygiene and it did get cold in the middle of the night. 2. A wardrobe to hang clothes up, I lived out my suitcase as there was nowhere to store clothes except a small chest of drawers which was big enough for underwear and sleep wear. 3. The shower ran cold quite quick. But being in sun all day was actually quite nice, a shelf in the bathroom would be handy to put shampoo etc, I had to balance mine on the toilet. 4. There is a lot of noise from dogs, cicadas and cockerels, but I was told this is all over the area,luckily I brought foam in ear defenders which helped and an eye mask as there it has a white curtain which let light in early

L'emplacement, a deux pas d une belle plage avec des familles et gens locaux, propre avec tout ce qu'il faut a proximité. Le logement est très calme avec un parking privé. Une petite supérette a deux pas et un petit supermarché un peu plus loin. Le logement est très minimaliste. La climatisation n'est pas présente dans les deux pièces. Le lit deux personnes est a côté de la kitchenette et d'un frigo très bruyant. Peu d ustensiles de cuisine, ni aliments de base type sel huile pour cuisiner. Mais Suleymane est très gentil et fais tout pour nous satisfaire, il nous a fourni un four a notre demande. La machine est laver est très appréciable et on peut étendre son linge dans le jardin. Donc pour un séjour a budget moyen c'est très bien vu la belle région.
