The staff from reception, cleaners and spa team were all super nice! The room was big and clean, super comfy bed. Amazing views! I really advise the SPA treatments, they were really good.
The WiFi was very slow and kept disconnecting. The shower head also wasn’t working properly. I wouldn’t recommend dining at their restaurant: it’s overpriced for the quality of both the food and service. Definitely not up to 5-star standards. We spent €125 for two people, which I wouldn’t have minded if the experience had been good. Unfortunately, the table was wobbly, the staff didn’t explain the dishes they were serving (we had to guess what we were eating), offered no advice on wine, and overall weren’t very friendly. Breakfast was also not amazing.

Very spacious rooms with great views of the Douro River in an eco friendly environment.
A little far from the wineries, but the train was convenient and all worked out well.

Beautiful view, absolutely breathtaking. Staff very friendly. Spa was great and breakfast food was also great. Parking is very convenient!
The location is not great and doesn’t have a lot happening around it. Additionally I believe the building itself is not very well maintained and could use a renovation. Room service food was expensive and not great quality.

It wasn’t very comfortable, spa pool was very small for the hotel size, completely full. Was expecting more. At breakfast they don’t come to ask if you want anything tea/coffee/hot chocolate and they take ages to refill. Asked for a short surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday. The put 2 hours after we arrived some juice and a plate with old fruit.
