Our hosts were exceptionally friendly! They welcomed us with some drinks, and ice cream. Which was really nice after a long ride. The accommodation was nice and tidy. The view from the balcony was perfect, and the beach was rather close. You do need to climb some stars, but that was fine. Also I suggest to bring cash to pay, because they don't have card option. Also several restaurants are close by, but it is a small town. Perfect for relaxing holiday. I saw a lot of fish close to the beach. Even spotted some dolphins.
Some might find it hard to do something on rainy days. Wasn't an issue for us. Krk is close with car, and you always can bring some books and board games.

We stayed in Studio apartment in early September and were very satisfied. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. There was absolutely everything you need. The terrace is covered and almost constantly under the shade, which is very important in hot summers or if it rains. It could always be used, thanks to which we never turned on the air conditioner. The terrace was large enough for 3 people and had a nice view. The owners are very friendly and nice people, always ready to help and advise if you have any questions. It takes 5 minutes walk to the nearest beaches (3 small coves). You need to go down the stairs to the beaches, but this was not a problem for us, even with a child. The stairs have railings and the top of the stairs offers excellent views of the island of Krk, the sea and the Croatian mainland. The beaches are mainly from stone with colored pebbles. The beaches are natural and very picturesque. In general, the nature in this area is very beautiful. The sea is very clean and beautiful. The sea was warm and it was pleasant to swim. The child was in the water all the time. There were many cafe and restaurants nearby.
There are 4 large supermarkets in Novi Vinodolski. It's 10 minutes by car. Also there is a small shop within walking distance.
