Casa de La Chola

This was the most charming property we stayed at in our two weeks in Peru. The facilities couldn’t have been better appointed. They had spacious rooms, beautiful grounds, animals around, and the most amazing staff. Carlos went above and beyond in making us feel welcome, and we were even helped with getting local transportation back to Cusco. This isn’t even to mention how wonderful the food was!! It’s been a few weeks since our stay and i still just keep thinking how lucky we were to have booked in such a wonderful place.

It was very far from town due to the construction happening on the main road which made it a bummer for trying to explore. This ended up being perfect because we just got to relax under the stars and take a beat before our big hiking adventures began the next day.

Quiet with mountain view, character build and decor. Bedding extremely comfortable and rooms are spacious.Food prepared for breakfast was good and fresh as were evening meals. Carlos was very helpful and considerate of our needs

Difficult getting in and out of Ollantaytambo due to distance and reliance on collectivo buses which require a bit of understanding and not convenient with luggage. Apart from eating at the hotel there is only the brewery down the road but it is a short but unpleasant walk due to traffic and no footpaths. The toilets are extremely poor in flushing solid waste

Our room was a superior and was very good. The standard - my parents had it - wasn't that comfortable. Above all, a good choice

room with several gnats, I know we're in the nature but a mosquito net wouldn't be a bad idea.
