A nice apartment situated on the first floor of an apartment block (stairs only). The old town area can be reached on foot within 15 minutes, public transport and a nice restaurant are close by (5 minutes walk). A supermarket and a large shopping centre are both around 10 minutes walk away.

I thought that the apartment was overpriced for the city, although it could be argued that it is because it is close to the old town area. I found the apartment lighting to be poor, with the ceiling light in the living area not working at all during my stay. I also found the idea of two single mattresses being placed together to create a double-sized one to be uncomfortable. Despite this, the bed would be best described as "firm", which I personally liked, although others may not. The shower tray and enclosure were somewhat mounted higher than expected. Something guests need to be aware of when exiting it after use, as the shower tray can be slippery. I would not recommend planning on cooking meals in the apartment, as the equipment provided is not really suitable for doing so. Basic provisions are only provided. No laundry facilities are provided, only an iron and ironing board. However, a short bus ride will take you to a small shopping centre, where there is a self-service laundromat.

The location

We needed important assistance to find a lab to do Corona test vital for our back flight. From our entrance to the apartment on Friday evening up to Tuesday night nobody was there to face our minimal needs like a bit of sugar or additional pillow. In regard to our query about Covid test it was an SMS reply (after 2 days) saying "Look in the Internet" All the sites that I found in the Internet (by the way very weak WIFI) were in Czech language. At the last moment we got some help from people in the streets. Wednesday morning 10 minutes before our leaving, the lady open the "reception" to collect the payment and the keys. It's pity that we had such disappointment because the apartment is well located and the city and the surroundings are wonderful
