This was the French countryside idyll we were looking for.

Dominique was an exceptionally kind host even taking time to pick us up from, and drop us back to, the train station. The property is beautifully decorated with Dominique’s art and sits picturesquely right on the stream. Bonus was two excellent restaurants almost on the doorstep.

A beautiful place to stay in Arbois

A wonderful place to stay in Arbois - central, quiet and cosy. There is a picturesque view and river at the back of the property - it’s wonderful to wake up to this view! We highly recommend staying here.

A delightful stay in Arbois

This was such a lucky find. A very spacious, well appointed and quirkily decorated converted barn, located right alongside the Cuisance river in the centre of the picturesque town of Arbois, nestled in rolling hills adorned with vineyards and forest. Dominique is very responsive and helpful host. Comfortable bed and pillows, good kitchen (although we didn't use it - got takeaway from a nearby pizzeria). We would definitely come back again.

Nothing, but recommend stopping your car in front of the door to unload, then parking either on the Place Faramond if you manage to find a space, or in the carpark on the other side of the river (which you can easily walk to via the stone footbridge).

An ex-artist’s studio, one large room with wooden roof, with bed in a mansard. Lovely sound of river, breezy and cool.

we‘ll be back as soon as possible

Holiday Loft 58 was one of the nicest vacation rentals we've ever stayed in. The furnishings are tasteful, of high quality and functional. The highlight is the location right above the Cuisance River. We liked the sound of the water. And you could see fish and birds. The bed on the mezzanine is excellent. However, there is no shelf for glasses, cell phone, book... There is plenty of space for two people downstairs in the loft. And there are different corners where you can make yourself comfortable. The location is perfect: all shops are within walking distance, the best restaurant in Arbois, the Bistronôme, is right next door. Unfortunately, the weather was so good that we were out and about a lot and couldn't use the loft much enough. We'll be back when the weather is really bad 😉

The Loft was perfekt. One little thing: a shelf over the bed for glasses, books would be helpful

Go to Arbois

Wonderful spot right in the centre of Arbois. Beautiful and relaxed apartment with easy access to everything including a great restaurant and a cosy wine bar, all within a stone's throw. Parking is possible on the door steps (literally), which is quite practical. Excellent service!

Charming studio apartment in the centre of Arbois.

The loft apartment is a living portrait with rustic industrial decor. It is spacy and charming. Dominique was very welcoming and pleasant. The internet worked great and the location is spack in the middle of a charming town with many wine and boutique shops. We only stayed one night but it was a pleasure.
