Cen Pin B&B

Very inexpensive and pretty solid place for the price. Convenient location fairly close to old street as long as you don't mind walking up and down many stairs. They do provide breakfast, but no earlier than 8am, so we couldn't take advantage of that on the day we were going birdwatching (which requires leaving early in the morning). Staff were friendly and tried to be as helpful as they could, although they spoke no English at all so we had to communicate through the translate app on phones. It was great that there was a mini-fridge in the room.

Some things to note before you choose to stay here: - Very hard to find the place! You have to walk along a series of alleys / stairs, and while other hotels have signs along those paths, this one does not. They'll send you pictures of how to go, but it's hard to spot the views depicted in the pictures. - To get there from old street, and from the bus stop, requires walking up several flights of stairs between buildings, for several minutes, so if you have luggage you'd want to take a taxi to the lot above them so you can walk down a couple of sloped alleys instead. - You can communicate with someone who speaks English on the LINE app, but staff on site speak no English at all. So make sure to have LINE installed and connect with them on LINE _before_ you travel there. I think the room was just fine for the very low price. It had no view from the room, but great views are a few minutes walk away. Sufficient power outlets, and AC works well.
