Wonderful as always

As always the views and location of this property are outstanding - whilst it’s a drive to get anywhere we love the location and the facilities here

This time our stay was a little disrupted by the spider infestation (which is out of the owners control) also using the oven and stove at the same time trips the electric and consumes too much power

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Rural El Puerto. The house has a great location with amazing views over the surrounding area and short distance to El Chorro and other towns in the area. The house was equipped with everything we needed and Carlos was a super helpful host.

I would definitely recommend and book again!

Upon arrival the villa was spick and span. Not even a little trail of dust on the refrigerator. The swimming area is surrounded that made the villa perfect for a vacation with a little child. The panaromic view of the hills was amazing! And the host was extremely friendly and accommodated to our every need.

A dishwasher however would make this house complete. But open the windows to reveal a beautiful landscape that would even make this simple chore a task of pure relaxation.

Really liked this place. Kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment we needed, it has a cool swimming poor and general BBQ area which was nice. Wifi was good. All around a good place to stay! Would recommend, and would stay again for sure.

We didn't realise there was a utility room with washing machine until the last day, haha. It was a bit hidden. Our fault though!

What a special place! A stunning position above the whole valley. Endless views, easy access to upper crags for climbing, and an outdoor pool area that is hard to leave because it’s so beautiful. Also a great value if you have a group. Kitchen is well set up for cooking

Fantastic place to stay as a group with plenty of amenities in an incredible hilltop location

The host - having visited in very challenging conditions (the worst storms in Andalusia for decades, we lost power and water), Carlos was very attentive and visited us at short notice to restore order on a couple of occasions. The location of the house is incredible, this was our second visit and the views still took our breath away! Very quiet and secluded, nice and secure with an electric gate at the bottom of the driveway. We were in the area mainly for climbing and the house is in an ideal location for several impressive crags, as well as the Caminito del Rey. The outdoor area is fantastic; the pool, lounge area and outdoor kitchen with wood-fired oven are a huge bonus.

The house could use some extra/updated equipment, mainly in the kitchen. A new toaster, some sharper knives (or a knife sharpener), and some basic condiments (salt, pepper, oil) would not go amiss. The only other observation is that the lighting is very stark throughout and not great in the kitchen in particular.

Vi havde en pragtfuld ferie med gåture og klatring. Vi brugte den smukke uopvarmet pool i december.

Husets beliggenhed er enestående og poolen og udeområderne meget velholdte og smukke. Der er flere terrasser. Indendørs er der 3 store gode sofaer, hvor familien kan samles og slappe af. Huset er smukt og praktisk. Værten er venlig, nem at kontakte og meget hjælpsom.
