Arnaboldi Palace

Arnaboldi Palace is perfectly located in the heart of the historic centre, with all the main attractions within easy walking distance. Our room was stunning—beautifully appointed, exceptionally spacious, and full of character. Don’t be put off by the somewhat hard-to-find entrance and the second-floor location in a block of flats; the hotel itself is impressive, and breakfast is served in a magnificent ballroom, making for a memorable start to the day. The service was warm, welcoming, and professional throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, though we were sorry it lasted only one night. For dinner, we highly recommend the nearby Osteria della Madonna da Peo, where we had an excellent meal.

Beautiful breakfast / lounge room Beautiful bedroom and bathroom Gorgeous breakfast Easy to walk to from the train station. Staff were super lovely, kind and attentive, special thanks to the two lady’s that were there at breakfast.

It was very noisy in the nighttime , sometimes up until 3am, which came from the people on nights out and loud youth on their way home from a night out , often woken from singing etc Then the street cleaning trucks started at 5am It looks like the terrace is available in the photos on the website, but it’s only for certain rooms, so we were very disappointed we couldn’t use it. Would recommend ear plugs for the noise, but it’s not the hotels fault in any way.

Location in heart of old Pavia, and unusual building were all great. Good service. Lovely room.

The earplugs left on the bedside table were a good warning of the noise to come from loud shouting from (guessing) students on their way home from an evening out on the town. Nothing violent, all good natured, but kept us awake & re-awaking us. There’s no double glazing, and it was as if they were in our room! Went on until about 3am..
