Wheelwright Cottage

Lovely property, very friendly hosts. Lots of birds, including kingfishers and barn swallows Strong wifi signal Thoroughly enjoyed playing with the dog as I no longer have one Did some sight seeing while I was there, especially loved my visits to Bude and swims in the Sea Pool.

Remember you are in the country, and very close to a farm therefore you will occasionally get farm yard smells, especially in the summer. Not a complaint, just a reminder for future guests.

cosy clean and modern

nothing not to like

Lovely little fully equipped cottage with nice view out the back. It is also a few minutes from the main road which meant no traffic noise. Particularly liked the hot powerful shower - great after a day's walking. The fully equipped kitchen was important to us too.

The bedroom is built into the roof and is therefore very height restrained in places. Not a major thing. Adds to the charm:-)

What a delightful little place! We absolutely loved it! The place was so clean and well put together with a cream tea awaiting our arrival too. The hosts were lovely and when the DVD player gave up the ghost they were all too eager to find us a working one, even though it was late in the evening. They even came and changed our bedding and towels halfway through our stay. We have been and will continue to recommend them to all our friends and families and look forward to being able to return again!

For longer stays it might be helpful to have a washing machine in the property or a list of local laundrettes.
