La Casa di Charme

The owners were very amicable. They answered Whatsapp promptly . The communication was excellent. The location is in Ragusa Superiore . It is 8 minutes walk to the bus station, 10 minutes to the train station. It is less than 4 minutes away from the Cathedral. There is a restaurant only 30 meters away. It opens at 6:00 . Kitchen opens at 6:30 am. An American breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, hot dog and one piece of toast. This with a cup of Americano costs 9 Euros. The apartment is well equipped with a microwave. It is big and comfortable with soft bed snd look quite new. pl . The room is bright and elegantly decorated. There is a cloth washer which I didn’t use. One small bottle of water was originally provided. The owner was so nice to bring me 2 big bottles of water. The price is reasonable. I wish the apartment has some paper towels or Kleenex though.

There is a small issue with the toilet seat but I am sure it will be replaced by the time you read this. The following can easily mitigate with your mobile data. This might not be a big problem. I noticed that the mobile reception signal is a bit weak maybe because the wall is thick . The first night I had online video Spanish class. The apartment WiFi came in and out . It was unstable. I told my teacher in Mexico that we would end the class after 2 times of dropped WiFi. We had to end the class after 22 minutes. The next night the apartment WiFi was fine. The older part of Ragusa is in Ragusa Ibla. It will take 1.7 miles or 42 minutes to walk downhill from the apartment to the Giardino Ibleo. The view is spectacular and you have a very good view of the lower town. Now you have to climb many steps to go back to your apartment but it would be good exercise. There is a bus line 1 and I think line 2 from the bus station but it runs like every 45 minutes. Some prefers to stay in Ibla but you will have to take a taxi to return to the bus/train station as it is very hard to walk unless you have a car .

Ho trascorso quattro giorni da sogno in una delle città più spettacolari d'Italia, Ibla e Ragusa sono un concentrato di bellezza, storia, arte, cultura e alchimia. Tutto ciò è stato valorizzato dal soggiorno in una struttura eccellente sotto ogni profilo, dalla posizione strategica, alla pulizia e all' accoglienza, gentilezza e ospitalità di Sara e Alessandro, premurosi e disponibili nel venire incontro, anche senza chiedere, ad ogni esigenza.

L'appartamento è nuovo e moderno. I titolari gentili, accoglienti e ospitali.

Impreparati ad accoglierci, acqua fredda in doccia, camere gelate, chiavi alla reception che non si trovavano , fatto upgrade proposto da Booking, ci siamo ritrovati in una stanza minuscola con peli di altre persone nella doccia.
