San Martin del Colle Holiday Home

Our stay at San Martin del Colle was absolutely wonderful. We were four adults and had the entire house to ourselves, which made the experience even more special. The property is spacious, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. We especially enjoyed the large swimming pool, the barbecue area, and the surrounding grounds, where we could truly relax and enjoy the Tuscan countryside. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Tuscany and just a short drive from the famous Teatro del Silenzio, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We spent unforgettable days enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, the beautiful scenery, and quality time together. This was one of the most memorable travel experiences we’ve had, and we would highly recommend San Martin del Colle to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing stay in Tuscany. We would love to return!

È un luogo incantevole, tirato su con cura e amore dal proprietario. C’è bellezza e senso di casa in ogni angolo, dal giardino rigoglioso, alla cappella, alla cucina staccata (grande e comodissima per quanto mi riguarda, cosi non si disturba chi vuole riposare a casa), alle camere fresche, ai bagni coi mosaici, alla piscina che ci siamo godute fino all’ultimo giorno, grazie alla gentilezza di Paolo. Completano il quadro la sua ospitalita che è stata impeccabile, la sua solarita e la sua discrezione. Un paradiso immerso nel verde ma comodissimo da raggiungere, in poco tempo si passa dalla citta alla natura rigogliosa e al solo suono delle cicale e del vento tra gli alberi

Everything. It was not good but magical. Chapel. The hose. The garden. All was idyllic

It would be easier with so so many delicious Italian food and eating all the time to have dishwasher but you can’t have all;)

The property is beautiful and rustic - in the sense of being fully equipped but not in modern-chic style or condition. Paolo was quick to fix things that we reported broken, which is an inevitability when staying for several days! It is a beautiful location that feels a long way away from other people, with excellent trees and birds, cool shade and the pool for the very hot temperatures we had. We really enjoyed spending a lot of time just hanging around the place. The kitchen even has good knives and pans for cooking! It is a short drive to the village for basic provisions (and a decent supermarket about 10-15mins drive away). The fragrance of the jasmine arbor over the doorway added to the magical ambience.

The air conditioners were noisy, so necessitated earplugs for sleep on the hottest night where we needed it (mosquito netting over the windows for when open windows were sufficient). But that's the only thing we can think of!
