everything was good. a quiet location. the apartment was clean. the balcony and view was nice.

Elza apartman features a medium sized western facing balcony with a marvellous view on the sea and nearby island. The flat's layout is great with a medium sized living room + kitchen, two smaller bedrooms, a mini bathroom and a great balcony. The AC was working well.

Unfortunately, the remaining things were not so great: - the land lady speaks almost NO English and no languages other than Croatian. She spoke Croatian with us (we speak no Croatian). Please, if you are in an international business, then learn English, at least at A2 level. Thank you! - Kitchen equipment is acceptable, but by no means good. Also, we had to extra ask for trash bags, and there was only 1 roll of toilet paper when we arrived. There were very few laundry hanging pins and were breaking apart when we tried to use them. We then just used mostly ours. The couch was not very comfortable. Some windows lie suprisingly low, near to the bottom, without any rails. - The land lady was not really helpful in solving problems: the washing machine once stopped working with an error sign. We notified her, who upon arriving said "Where problem? No problem!". She didn't understand the problem, and she spoke Croatian again. She also refused to use google translate at least. She kept repeating "Never problem". The machine did not want to pump. Via google translate we told it could be the filter. She then opened the manual and worked a bit on the washing machine. She most probably has not cleaned the filter thoroughly, as some days later the washing machine was full of water again. This was a quite negative experience with her, she showed little enthusiasm in trying to solve the problem. - The house has 6 flats. Walls are quite thin, and so guests in other flats could be heard quite well late in the evening. There was some conflict with one of them. - When we wanted to change the dates, it was not possible via the booking.com website, apparently because the owners did not authorize booking.com for doing that. When we asked the owners to help change the dates, they suggested to cancel our stay and book again. This is dangerous, because prices then go up, or others might book it. We finally had to phone booking.com.
