The Pension was perfectly situated for our visit to the Hessisch Oldendorff Volkswagen Vintage Car show. Jurgen was very fast to respond to our queries and a very gracious host.
We arrived during one of the hottest heat waves in 40 years. It was a bit warm at night without a rotating fan but this was a challenge for everyone, everywhere and had nothing to do with the hotel itself. The town of Fischbeck is quite quiet on Sunday, so if your visit will occur on a Sunday, make sure to stock up on provisions and groceries before 5pm or go to the nearby Hessisch Oldendorff for the supermarket

Sehr sympathische, zuvorkommende Eigentümer. Unkomplizierter Anonym Check-in/out.
Da dort aktuell modernisiert wird, ist natürlich noch nicht alles neu - dennoch bietet die Pension alles, was man erwarten kann.

Zimmer und Bad für mich ausreichend gross und passend ausgestattet. Bäckerei schräg über die Strasse ausreichend zum Frühstück. Ruhige Nacht trotz Strasse seitlich am Haus Parken in der Nähe gut möglich.
Schlüsselsafe vorhanden, aber falscher Codes zum Öffnen vorab mitgeteilt, mehrfach versucht ohne Erfolg (nach Mitternacht in einer kalten Nacht vor der Tür nur nervig), gut, dass die am Haus angebrachte Tel.nummer funktionierte und ich den richtigen Code erhielt
