Very good location, near lovely newly built beach and nice bridge to it. Good restaurant with delicious fish dishes and ice cream :) Friendly staff, big room, calm surrounding.

Cleanliness...especially in the bathroom. Nice rustic style, but some furniture was broken and beds creaks - not good when 5 people sleep in the room :)

This place is fantastic. We were given a free room upgrade. It looks fairly unassuming from outside, but inside is very nicely done. The rooms were basic but clean and pleasant, and excellent value for money. But the real attraction is the restaurant and in particular its fresh fish dishes. There is also a clear commitment to sustainable and environmentally-friendly business (without being preachy about it) and extremely helpful staff. Next to the guesthouse is a small park and path down to the lake where there is a little beach for swimming and a circular walk aroud the lake. The whole village feels like a place that is really on the up (as the development plans on public display seem to confirm).

I suppose if you dislike the smell of fresh fish and the sound of people in the kitchen and restuarant talking about fish, then this isn't the place for you. We had no objections to either.

Would have preferred a double bed instead of two singles

The place was not clean, it was full of insects and spiderwebs. Beds weren’t comfortable at all.
