Aloft by Marriott Dongguan Songshan Lake

Good value for money and helpful staff. Assistant manager Sienna went out of her way to help me with a few problems that I had (nothing to do with the Hotel). Her English was ok and she would make sure that my problems were sorted, even ordering in a bag that I required to transport extra samples home to Australia. She wasn't comfortable with me getting a taxi alone to the shopping mall so she went online and found what I required and had it sent to the hotel. She even gave me her WeChat contact so that if I had any problem when she was not available, I could contact her to sort it out. I hope that the management of the Hotel chain see this review so they know what an exceptional young staff member they have.

They had a coctail lounge bar area but it was never open.

Nice secluded corner with pond and park next to the property. Lots of food options in the mall nearby. Facilities are well kept.

Location is a little far away from the main town/ city.
