House at Longbeach - upstairs apartment

Antje war eine total nette Gastgeberin. Sie war mit uns bereits bei der Anreise in Kontakt und hat abends auf uns gewartet. Sie hat uns total viel erklärt und war immer erreichbar. Das Haus war ideal für den Start in unsere Reise. Die Kinder haben den Garten geliebt! Noordhoek haben wir auch als sehr gemütlich und überaus sicher erlebt. Wir waren froh, etwas außerhalb gewohnt zu haben. Würde ich sofort wieder empfehlen.

Beautiful spacious house, located close to the local beach and very well equipped. Antje is a good host, keeping you well informed of anything which may affect (load shedding) or enhance your stay (nearby markets). Well priced for a family of 4 or if 2 couples visit.

Although I was aware of the downstairs tenant when making the reservations, the noise from downstairs does travel and does take away from the ambience of the house and of being on holiday in the beautiful setting.

Good mountain views and we liked the fireplace too.

Some of plumbing and fittings were broken. Although it is advertised that you get the place to yourself, there is occupants living in the unit below which makes swimming and barbecuing a bit uncomfortable.
