Romantico , nostalgico in centro.

Something I didn't like was that the receptionist asked for my passport upon arrival and told me they would keep it until I checked out of the hotel. I don't understand why she would do this, as I've stayed in several hotels in Moldova and three others in Transnistria, and none of them did this to me. That's illegal, and no one can withhold MY passport. I have the right to carry it with me, and I'm also obligated to because the police can stop me in the street and ask for official identification. Furthermore, when driving, I can't be without official identification. It would be like being in the country illegally. Besides, I had already paid for the room (I paid upon arrival), so I don't understand why they did that to me. The hotel is fine, but because of this unpleasant incident upon arrival, I wouldn't return. Мне не понравилось, что администратор попросила мой паспорт по прибытии и сказала, что они будут хранить его до моего выезда из отеля. Я не понимаю, зачем она это сделала, ведь я останавливалась в нескольких отелях в Молдове и еще в трех в Приднестровье, и ни в одном из них со мной так не поступали. Это незаконно, и никто не может удерживать МОЙ паспорт. Я имею право носить его с собой, и я также обязана это делать, потому что полиция может остановить меня на улице и потребовать удостоверение личности. Кроме того, за рулем я не могу находиться без удостоверения личности. Это было бы равносильно незаконному пребыванию в стране. К тому же, я уже оплатила номер (я оплатила по прибытии), поэтому я не понимаю, почему они так поступили со мной. Отель хороший, но из-за этого неприятного инцидента по прибытии я бы сюда не вернулась.

The hotel is located in the centre of Bender, on the bank of the river Dniestr. The reception is quite new, currently undergoing renovation, the rooms are spacious and clean, totally recommend it.

Unfortunately contrary to booking options, the breakfast was not an option and the personnel rather speaks no English, but they were quite helpful. Moreover, for the first we got a room in which the boiler did not work, but they changed our room in no time.
