We loved the château's charm and had a wonderful week. Ben and Billie are fantastic hosts who make you feel right at home and are always on hand to share great local day trip tips.
La Grande Maison is in a perfect location for visiting local vineyards for wine tasting; we had great day trips exploring Chinon and Saumur, and we especially loved the beautiful town Montreuil-Bellay.

El chateau tiene mucho encanto, y el apartamento esta muy bien decorado, pero respetando un estilo antiguo.
Falta un poco de limpieza general, especialmente en las zonas comunes. La cocina comun era desastrosa. No debería ofrecerse al público.

Location. Good breakfast.
Empty fridge on arrival. No-one to greet us on arrival. Overgrown gardens and flower pots and rose bushes. The whole place looked tired and unloved.
