Half way stop to Sossusvlei, and hot water bottles at night and log fire.

Location is good for a stop over between the RSA border and West Namibia. Good shower. Friendly, helpful staff.
Although renovated some years back so all rooms are en-suite, the building and furnishings are old and well worn. We had room 7 and the floors creaked when walked on, which was noisy and disturbing for the partner at night. I read that when they renovated, they kept the old floors in the rooms for "character" but I question why as the substructure is not good. There is a small step between the room and shower room that is a hazard particularly at night (no night light in the room or bathroom, no warning on the step). Only a small shelf above the pedestal hand basin and a small low table for toiletries. No arm chair in the room.
