About this house rental

Private Entrance, Foyer, and Deck

Why stay in a hotel when you can have your kids, grandkids, and friends come to you.

This 1650 sq.ft. bungalow is across the street from South Glenmore Park on the Glenmore Reservoir. Walking trails, kids water park, the Calgary Sailing Club, and more make this an excellent home for a short visit here in Calgary. There is even a superb little kids park just 4 houses south of here for entertaining the wee ones. Also near by is Heritage Park, and Southland Leisure Centre with its featured wave pool, water slides, and a wading pool for the very young.


Close to RockyView Hospital, Starbucks, Safeway and Co-Op for groceries, and a local pub for pints or pub food. Numerous close by restaurants, and close to the Glenmore Sailing Club, Calgary Stampede, Chinook Mall and South Centre Mall.

Rental is for main floor of house, with sole access and control by our guests.
The owner's suite is downstairs, completely separate and walled off from the upstairs.
The only common area is the landing at the back door, resulting in rare but occasional interaction with our guests.

The home also features a gourmet kitchen, and is well set up for light entertaining of friends and family. We also feature a terrific art collection largely of works by Canadian artist Tony Tascona, Order of Canada, RCA, LLB

This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in.
Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking (anything), no parties or events, no pets.

Main floor is 1650+sf with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, gourmet kitchen, dining room, living room and family room. There is a covered yet open foyer at the front door enabling a near outdoor place for additional rest and relaxation.

Please note we do have a cat, which will not interfere with your stay. However, we do not recommend someone with cat allergies to stay here.

Great location for our needs. Owner lives downstairs, was always pleasant and informative. Large house with lots of living space. We would stay again.

We stayed here 5 nights in July 2025. VRBO had this house listed with a lower price which the owner clarified for me that it was higher, but we decided to book anyway. Great location! House is nicely furnished and kitchen is a dream, but we didn’t do any cooking. Unfortunately the bathrooms were small and not very clean. Bedrooms were nice and big with comfy beds and nice furniture. Unfortunately the yard is a big mess. Dirt, leaves, pine needles, empty pots etc everywhere. Old furniture, fence covered with brown netting and galvanized metal, NOT inviting at all to sit out there and enjoy the weather. Overall, Marty is a great host and very available as they live in the basement. The artwork, in itself, is a wonder and enjoyable to look at. Thank you!
