Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful. He welcomed us with treats and wine, which has probably never happened to us before, even though we travel quite a lot. It’s hard to find this level of hospitality anywhere.
The courtyard is perfect, and you can even grill meat in the fireplace — and you can buy fresh meat from the local butcher in town! The bed was extremely comfortable, and the cottage had absolutely everything we could possibly need, and even more.
The comfort was exceptional, and we are so happy to have discovered this place. We truly hope we’ll have the chance to come back!
In short, everything was perfect. Don’t hesitate for a second to choose this place! Just a few minutes by car and you’re at the beach. The town has cafés and little shops, there aren’t many people around, and everything is conveniently close.
I have never written such a review for anyone before, but this place truly deserves the highest praise!

De rust, de locatie, dichtbij zee, dichtbij Sintra omringd door heerlijke pijnbomen en de oceaan in de verte. De gastheer, Ricardo was echt extreem behulpzaam en vriendelijk! De vibe zit goed!
De keuken was zeer basic om veel zelf te kunnen koken. Geen vaatwasser, geen echte keukenkasten om alles te kunnen opbergen wat maakt dat het meer als een camping keuken te gebruiken was. Hetzelfde met de kledingkast, die was er niet buiten 1 kleine tak aan twee koordjes;) we verbleven daar 9 nachten dus dit alles was iets minder comfortabel. Als je niets kan opbergen is er dus tijdens je verblijf steeds overal “rommel” door die twee gebreken. Het tuinmeubilair (je leeft toch grotendeels buiten in de zomer) was niet comfortabel, noch de lounge set als de eettafel. Hard, zonder extra kussens om wat te verzachten;) de twee hangmatten waren top!
