Great location, beautiful view, friendly hosts, and reasonably clean. If you are mainly looking for a place to sleep and spend little time at the apartment, it can be a good option.

Unfortunately, the accommodation does not quite match the impression given by the photos, which can be misleading. The bathroom is separate from the bedroom, so you regularly have to cross paths with other guests when going to the shower or toilet. The four balconies are also right next to each other, with no privacy screens, making it feel like you are sitting almost directly next to your neighbours.There are also constant noise in the building, due to paper-thin walls between the rooms. The “kitchen” is actually a very small outdoor cabin rather than a proper indoor kitchen. Several basic amenities are also missing or insufficient: no washing machine, no paper towels, no hand soap anywhere, and not enough cutlery when all rooms are occupied. There also seems to be a general lack of ongoing maintenance of the facilities: the toilet was completely unscrewed and wobbly, and some of the plumbing was partially blocked. Finally, we were asked to hand over our passports upon arrival so that we could be registered with the local tourist authority the following day. We found this concerning from a personal data protection and identity theft perspective, and would have preferred a more secure and transparent process for handling identification documents as in other accommodations we experienced through the country. Taken individually, none of these issues would necessarily be a major problem. However, the accumulation of them, combined with the lack of clarity in the original listing, can easily lead to disappointment. If you are looking for an apartment where you can relax and spend time, this is probably not the right place for you. The rooms are very small, and the overall setup involves quite a lot of proximity to other guests. It is better suited as a basic place to sleep than as a place to chill and enjoy the accommodation.
