La Boheme Hotel

This is a great little hotel right on the sea front in Gythio. If you get a room with a balcony facing the sea, the view and experience is amazing. The beds are comfortable, and our room was a good size. The breakfast included was better than we expected. The location is also good for accessing the rest of the town. The staff were also friendly and accommodating.

We had no complaints. I don't understand some of the negative comments here. Yes, there is no parking, but the hotel makes no claim to offer parking of its own. As with all other hotels in Gythio, you use public parking spaces, which are not hard to find out of season, but are probably tricky in season.

In centre of Gytheio close to lots of places to eat. Balcony with outlook to sea. Good breakfast . Comfortable bed . Everything worked.

Busy road between hotel and sea so balcony was noisy. Small room just a small space around the bed. No coffee machine.

The best way to describe La Boheme is ‘quality’ The rooms, the service, the breakfast and the staff were just all perfect for us - we had a great stay. Dimitris was always on hand and very helpful and lovely. We had a sea view room and some have said the rooms were small but ours was definitely generous with an amazing view from the balcony. Breakfast was an al a carte sort of ‘brunch’ menu - made to order and always delicious. Not the cheapest of places to stay but you definitely get what you pay for and I would highly recommend.

The view from the balcony is amazing.

We checked in and chose not to stay when we saw the room. It’s a very tired place. Quite basic. The location is great but for us that did not outweigh the quality of the room, finish and bedding. Paint was peeling, knocks out of the walls.
