Residenza Simona

The view is breathtaking. It's quiet and stylishly decorated. The apartment and the beds were comfortable. The host was a good communicator when we had a problem, but directions for air conditioning, drying rack operations would've made our stay easier.

There was no wine opener when we arrived. There were only 3 towels for 3 of us for 3 nights with no towels for the pool. The pool was not heated and the chaise can use some upgrading. In order to stay here you MUST go down or up part of the steepy road. Not gonna lie...it was terrifying. The driveway down to the gate was too steep for my 82 year old mom so we opened the gate and drove in to drop her off and pick her up.

We had a lovely stay. The view is simply breathtaking, from everywhere in the apt. Very spacious, clean, has all the amenities, the kitchen is fully equipped. The glass floor was a very nice touch. Hosts were so nice, even helped us make a dinner reservation. Loved it!

The view was beautiful

No car wants to take you back to your home or drop you off there. We almost had to walk up with luggage because our car we hired didn’t want to drive up there. If you don’t have a car it’s a trail of tears back to the house and it’s not really discussed in other reviews. The host was nice to begin with, but then when we stayed at the house turned a bit cold. They left prosecco in the fridge for us, no notes about charging for it, then there was an awkward exchange about how we should have cash to pay for it. If it’s not free - tell us. They also were not very helpful and actually made us feel stupid at one point about transportation. It was my brother’s honeymoon and I didn’t think it was very nice.
