Apartment Sörenweg 4 Appartement-Fewo 2-Bettwohnung by Interhome

The apartment is located within 5 minutes walk from the train station and about 15 minutes walk to the Titlisbahn (we were there for skiing). It isn't a large apartment with the beds essentially in the same space as the living room and kitchen. There is a curtain that can be drawn between the living and sleeping spaces. For two people (me and my son) it was perfect. Beds are comfy and a selection of British TV channels, if you miss it. The kitchen has two hot plates and an oven. There are plenty of dishes, glasses, cup, pots and pans, and even had oil, vinegar and condiments left in the apartment. It has boot/ski room in the ground floor, the apartment is on the 1st floor, directly opposite the front door up a few steps.

I was slightly confused by the key pick-up and had to phone both Interhome and the Tourist Office. Essentially, the Tourist Office is the key holder but you can only pick up the keys between 3 & 5pm. After 5pm the keys are held by a nearby hotel: H+ Hotel and Spa. They were great and you get an envelope with the keys and directions to the apartment. If you pick-up from there you need to go to the Tourist Office the following days to register (normal opening hours, from 8am). You need to give the apartment a clean before you leave, but that isn't a big issue. The only thing that I didn't really like was that you've got to take all your rubbish and recycling with you, as there are no bins near the apartment. The official bins are about 10 mins walk away near the Gemeindehaus, although not paper or cans. Cans can be dropped off at the railway station, paper only during office hours at a recycling centre 20 mins walk away (I took our paper home instead).

The views were to die for. Ideal location, handy to rail station, shops, bars and restaurants. Facilities in apartment were great every need catered for.

More and better pillows would have been good. Could have done with more or replacement towels. Location of waste bins was about a kilometre away.
