Converted outbuilding on a farm with a very traditional rustic feel and a big log fire. Warm welcome, and excellent evening meal at reasonable cost.

Great location for hiking around Chinyero and the accommodation itself is very pretty. An old barn made of volcanic rock built centuries ago, fully renovated. It was like stepping back in time. The food provided was very good too and the staff were very friendly. They were even able to make for me a little picnic lunch for me the day I checked out because I had to leave early and miss breakfast.
Was a bit confusing figuring out the shower as it took a good few minutes for it to get hot, and I wasn’t sure which direction to turn the handle for hot water. The Wi-Fi was a bit patchy in my room but mostly worked well enough.

An experience that would be hard to repeat! Amazing, historic setting. Absolutely phenomenal! Lava stone walls, Fireplaces. We did not have dinner but it looked good. Breakfast was good. Views awe inspiring.
We booked last minute and our room, #6, had a stove instead of a real fireplace. But it really was not an issue.
