Very nice and relaxing place, remote are, walking distance to the Nei Pori beach.

Perfect location for those who like some silence, in a remote nice village. A sandy beach is nearby, within a 5-6 min walk, with a lot of places / beach bars where we could have the breakfast or dinner. We tried Mythos restaurant, in the same area - very nice portions of souvlaki, chips, etc. BUT be careful for the mosquitos, they are swarming in the evening.

Great place to be in and to relax.

Location is perfect, we didn`t even had to carry too much stuff with us to the beach cos property was 100m from it. The owner Kostas and his assistant Alexandra are great hosts, pleasant and friendly people always ready to suggest or help. Village is small and peaceful, a little strange piece of haven for people that don't need too much entertainment, and only want relaxation. Sea is clean some seaweed around but its ok. Fishes tend to swim near your legs in early morning. Definitely is good for families. Food is ok, have eaten better but didn't try Kostas cooking. If you can, buy some of supplies in some of major cities that are on the way like Katerini, local supply chain is OK, but not so divers. There is few market places around to find, and one major, I will say square but its far from it with good bakery, and fast food station. For other restaurant, I am not quite objective to say. Near Golden Beach See View is small shop with home made sweats you can find it on navigation.

This is not a bad thing but I need to say it. Nea Mesangala is not for people that are in search for activities that are not connected to the lying down on beach or swimming around. It is a village, that local use it as a weekend place to stay, and as I say from my point of view that is not a bad thing. BRING SOMETHING AGAINST MOSQUITOS.

If you want to rest - it is the best

Hosts are a very nice and lovely family that is always there to help you with anything. Apartments are close to the beach, and have a small shop downstairs, which is very convenient in this village. Absolutely no crowds on the beach, plenty of space, and we were there from 15th to 24th July. Who appreciates peace - place for him.

The only negative thing about the apartment are probably not so great mattresses. And this village should definitely improve its infrastructure and roads, but that has nothing to do with the apartment itself.

Room looked better than on photos here on booking when we stepped in. And it was very clean. Staff was excellent. Peacefull place.. really nice.. Very close to the beach and there was not much crowd..you could choose any place on the beach you wished to stay and swim.

Rest for soul and body

The apartment is clean, contains everything you need, close to the beach (50m). The place is small, quiet, only birds and the sea can be heard. The beach is sandy and clean. The owners (Mr. Kostas Tsianis and his hard-working family) are pleasant and always at your service for any question. All people in the village are kind. All in all the score for the Mr. Kostas Tsianis and his family, the Golden Beach apartment, and Nea Mesangala is 10 !!!

I really liked location close to the beautiful sandy beach with a lot of marine life. There was not too many people and one could just stroll to one of the cozy Home-like restaurants with traditional Greek food and eat at the shore with the sea view. Although, we spend minimum time at the property (we did trip to Olympos Mountain the first day and spend the ontehr on the beach) Owner was very nice and helpful.. he made a "Greek" coffee for us and explained a bit of

Owner is a great man. He is welcoming us like no one else. Even thou the property is modest and not very new it deserves respect and appreciation. Beach is some 50m in front. Parking is free. Room is clean and has kitchenette. Balcony is big, view was to the sea. Area is calm, small village.

Rooms are old and small, air condition not very efficient, very erratic internet access, there was nobody at the reception when we arrived and nobody was answering the phone. Nu ai o pleadă mare de taverne în jur. Cam trebuie să te mulțumești cu vreo două și cam am slabe... Până la cel mai apropiat supermarket faci antrenament cardio, dar la senzația de Vama Veche 1990 pe care ți o dă nu mai contează nimic
