The hosts are a wonderful family. It's cheap, it's close to the beach. It offers enough for the price. If I'm not mistaken, renovations are taking place oregularly, so some rooms might be prettier than others.
Depending on the room - you can have a great view of the sea or a quite disappointing view of the yard and the back streets of the village. Yard is not green at all, so depends on what you're looking for. Also, Nea Messagala is a pretty forgotten village, don't expect views, nightlife, a satisfying array of taverna's etc. Not the property's fault, but just so you know.

Perfect location for those who like some silence, in a remote nice village. A sandy beach is nearby, within a 5-6 min walk, with a lot of places / beach bars where we could have the breakfast or dinner. We tried Mythos restaurant, in the same area - very nice portions of souvlaki, chips, etc. BUT be careful for the mosquitos, they are swarming in the evening.
