The location in Jordaan was perfect. Short walks to a lot of attractions and the street was lively with lots of little shops, boutiques, cafés and restaurants.
Nothing to dislike, but be prepared for very narrow and step Dutch staircases.

Great situation-nice decor and had everything we needed. Offer of tea or coffee on arrival was a lovely touch. Helpful map with ourhost marking key areas to visit. Nice list of good food and drink nearby
The stairs were steep and the handrail felt a bit wobbly but I liked the stairs as they were typical of the property but definitely true that you need to be fit to negotiate them.

Great location - easy access to buses to central station/city areas and in a street with lots of restaurants, supermarkets and interesting shops.
Know Amsterdam accommodation expensive but felt this overpriced, as small bedroom en suite in family house with no breakfast or personal interaction with guests and lots of noise both inside and from street below. Linen and mattress also rather weathered.
