I loved the location and Lin was friendly and explained everything. The decor inside also was really vintage. Would stay here again if I want to come back to Taiping. Food is awesome as well. Toilets are clean.

The manager on reception (I think called Lin) was exceptionally friendly and helpful, as well as having brilliant English. Perfect location for the park, zoo, mall and restaurants.

It was very unique and quirky. The 4 bed dorms were quiet and I had everything I needed. There were only 2 showers but it was never a problem. Good location near Gi Gi cafe for breakfast and a stroll to the magnificent Lake Park (I will be uploading a video of the hostel and seperately one of the lake area on my YouTube channel @Harryshappenings in the autumn

Room is clean. Location is good.
Management shall establish a house rule to prevent residents from cooking in the public living room. The smell from the left over food in the trash bin is unbearable. Moreover this trash bin is placed at the entrance door to the guest house.
