Good facilities and location but needs a deep clean and updating, more 2 star than 3

The house had pretty much all the basics that you might need. The tea & coffee was well stocked, first impressions of the downstairs was good and the living area was good. There was ample parking available, a little park to the rear of the property, free wifi, supermarkets close by and plenty of information provided by the host to help. The host was kind and responsive.

The property requires a full deep clean, some maintenance and updating. The main usage areas are clean but everywhere, the cupboards, wardrobes, ceilings and walls do not look clean - we lived out of suitcases for 4 days. The mattresses were too soft, think they are due for replacement and the pillows were lumpy. The washing and drying machines are in one of the 2nd floor bedrooms, which made that room hot and noisy. The other bedroom next to it was sometimes noisy if a boiler or something was running. The first floor bedroom didn't have a clean feel to it, although the bedding did smell fresh. Unfortunately, we wouldn't stay again and felt a customer rating of 8+ (which was why I booked) was way too high.

Perfection

If you want to experience what a real Airbnb should be like, this is the one. Everything was absolutely perfect-from the cleanliness to the cozy atmosphere, thoughtful touches, and incredible hospitality. The place is stylish, well-equipped, and exactly as shown in the photos (if not better). It's also easily accessible by public transport, which made getting around super convenient. If you're looking to enjoy your trip to the max without any stress, just book this place without thinking twice. Highly recommended!

Short but good

It was the first time that we rented a house like that and it was nice we didn't stay long but i can see the potential that is you stay for a week or so you have everything you need in the house

The spacious apartment is about 500m to the tram stop, and the supermarket is about 500m away. The apartment itself is clean. Parking outside and behind the apartment was easy and convenient. The kitchen is well equipped.

House in residential area near east edge of Rotterdam.

The house is in a residential area on the east edge of Rotterdam.

Window frames need replacing in bathroom & main bedroom. Some wall panels had holes in them. We chose this property as we were travelling by bikes & wanted somewhere on he edge of Rotterdam.

A very good alternative to hotels - spacious space and perfect for self catering.

Nice area, not far from city center. Perfect for 2 families, lot of space for everything. All you can need in kitchen and bathroom... We would stay longer next time. :)

Fair but won't return

Friendly owners. Overall clean.

Location is far from sightseeing venues. Very steep stairs not advisable for elderly or families with toddlers. Microwave made sparks!! Very Dangerous. Although it was overall clean, the cutlery drawer was not and the cooking utensils and oven were also not clean.

Good Time in Rotterdam, Bad Experience in Apartment.

The facility was nice and the location semi-good for those driving.

The Host could have some respect for people who have travelled to enjoy a vacation as they ruined our trip for my brother's birthday. Baseless accusations were thrown at us with no consideration to how we feel. The Host failed to do checks when invited down to come and see the premises with their own eyes to verify whether smoking was taking place within the building. This was not the case; pictures were shared, and no apology given. FYI - The baseless threats were the neighbours complaining and hanging around outside the premises [Quite irritating and not giving us space] accusing us of smoking in the house. Did not feel comfortable as we were threatened about our stay based off a neighbour's complaints and no further checks/investigations took place, instead we received a threat from the host to be evicted by police. Had to send images and invite the host down [They did not turn up] when receiving horrible accusations with no base/merit to it. The end to summarise resulted in us all spending most our time out and very little at the apartment to just sleep. I mean who wants a bunch of old people standing outside the place they are staying for vacation making stupid complaints that were baseless. I.e., they were also invited in to check if anyone had been smoking. Naturally they declined and no police arrived. Just a way to ruin a group stay. Never booking here again for sure. Rotterdam is lovely and most of the community are, probably will stay elsewhere but within Rotterdam.

On booking was showing that were 2 toilets at the house, but when we arrived one of them was being renovated and we couldn't use it. But apart from that, the house was nice.

Niets, verrassend was dat op de eerste verdieping er geen 2 aparte kamers waren, maar een grote kamer en 4 bedden.

Dreckhaufen. Wir fühlten uns sehr unwohl in diesem schmutzigen Haus.

Das Haus war dreckig. ‼️ Es war in allen Ecken oder Flächen schmutzig. Das Mobiliar war teilweise nicht nur verdreckt, sondern auch defekt. Die Toiletten waren noch vom Vormieter mit Kot behaftet. Lampen funktionierten nicht. Die einzige Badezimmer-Steckdose funktionierte nicht. Weiterer Strom ist nicht vorhanden. Das Geschirr und Besteck war nicht gereinigt. Es war einfach ekelhaft. Wie es zu den "fabelhaft"-bewertungen hier kommt, ist mir schleierhaft. Im Dachgeschoss zwei Einzelbetten die knarzten bei jeder Bewegung. Der Raum hatte offene Stromleitungen und eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner, aber keinerlei Schränke für unsere Bekleidung. Im mittleren Schlafzimmer waren unsaubere Schränke zusammengewürfelt. Die Treppen sind steil und schmal. Im oberen Flur befindet sich keinerlei Handlauf,-lebensgefährlich ❗️. Der andere Handlauf war nicht fest verankert und hing an einer Schraube. Die Fenster waren allesamt seit Monaten nicht geputzt. Das konnte man erkennen. Die Vorhänge frieften vor Schmutz und hingen an einem Seil. Überhaupt war das Haus wohl seit Wochen nicht gesäubert worden. Ekelhaft. Auf der Terrasse sprießten Gras und Unkraut zwischen den Platten. An den Wänden klebten noch Auifkleber vom Vormieter (?). Ich wundere mich über Booking, dass so etwas versieftes dort Platz findet. 👎 Insgesamt nicht zu empfehlen. Ich würde selbst geschenkt nicht mehr dort übernachten wollen. Beispielbilder (ein paar) habe ich beigefügt. Über Booking bin ich echt enttäuscht.
