I liked the inner yard and decorations
The room was basic but comfortable
True guest feeling
Inner yard ventilation was not so good (but also the outside temperature and humidity were too high)

The room room was clean and the pictures were very accurate. The main host was out offering a guided tours in Serbia, but a we could check in without a problem with another family member. We were also happy to be able to buy local made wine from them. The AC was very welcomed and is a big plus, as the heat in the summer season can be hard to manage. All in all, good value for money. We would return again, if in the area.
Related to location: If you are planning to stay here, make sure you do not lack too many vital consumables, as there are not that many shopping markets in walking distance. Being the driver and wanting to enjoy a local beer, I found a nearby restaurant/terrace by the Danube to be the only option within 15-20 minutes walking distance.

This is a great place if you respect mountains and Danube and want to enjoy hiking. The host is very knowledgeable and ready to point out hikes. One could start with the local hikes - for those who walk long hikes yet at an easy pace try the ecological paths around. At the end, one could indulge in homemade spreads such as acacia and wild apples. There are lively morning coffee talks in a relaxed and stylish courtyard. The house itself is a renovated local house. We hope to come again next year.

I loved staying at this place. The room was cozy, kitchen and bathroom were clean. Most of all, Razvan was a great host. He organized a boat trip for me and went on a cave tour with me. He is knowledgeable and friendly and I had a great time!

I booked to stay for 9 days but ended up staying for a total of 15 days. The guesthouse itself is great, the entrance and communal area is adorned with antiques of every imaginable kind, there are some wild bird’s nests close to the communal area and other places, creating a fun and open atmosphere. I met many great people there, spent several nights drinking, talking, laughing together at the tables outside in the evening. I’ve never experienced anything similar previously, which prompted me to write this extensive review.
The owner and his family are great, it’s clear they’re not just providing a room to stay in but want to make sure the guest has a good experience as a whole, both while inside the establishment but also outside in Dubova and the extended area around it. He provides a vast number of activities at an extremely competitive price. I had something to do every day, mostly thanks to the owner. I don’t have a license and have previously had a hard time getting around. Not this time though, we went to caves, trails, to see the wild horses, crossed the border to Serbia, waterfalls, Hercules mythical trail, and so much more. Booking a stay here for fewer than seven days is a big mistake as there’s just so much more to do than see the statue and monastery.
Couldn’t recommend the guesthouse more, I'm still hyped over the experience even a week after checking out. I’ll obviously return soon in the future, hopefully for another two weeks :)

I loved the cosy atmosphere, the creative way the inner garden was arranged and the friendly hosts.
The plumbing could have been beter, as the water was yellowish in colour.

Quite big room with comfortable bed
When we arrived there was a very strong smell of toilet chemicals like domestos or so, I think they cleaned the bathroom just before. We could not get rid of that strong smell even with the bathroom's door closed and windows open.

Aircon-back faced the veranda where guest could sit or cook, but if they were on, than the air would blow there, which is cold in the winter and warm in the summer - real bad design. Also noise level was very high and walls between rooms were very thin, one could hear everything. The TV was inconveniently located, difficult to pass by on the way to the bathroom. Pretty dark as windows were very small.

The location is a great deal for self catering guests. It is a green, envirionmental friendly location. The location is with patio and mediteranian flair. So in summer it´s great, in late autom you will miss the temperature and comfort of a warm summerday.
some of the light bulbs were malfunctioning
