I came with my friend and found that the gentleman at the reception was very nice and helpful for us. He tried his best to call a landline for us even it was 6-minute to go for his duty.
We loved the kitchen and the atmosphere inside the living room (very large) surrounding the hotel. A single bed was a bit hard with uneven spring cords (only one thing I should comment!) (inside our room were a double bed and a single bed which we could sleep separately and peacefully) A 4-square shop was so closed and very convenient. We were very lucky to see the clear sky with stars at the hotel. Overall... Love it!

The room was nice and well-equipped, with a private bathroom and shower. It also had an electric blanket and heater, which made the stay very comfortable. The location is not far from the town center, and the WiFi works well. There is a shared kitchen with complete cooking facilities.
However, the room is not soundproof at all—you can hear snoring and conversations from the next room, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep.
It’s a convenient stopover before heading to Mt. Cook. There are Thai restaurants nearby, a salmon restaurant, as well as a supermarket and a gas station. Overall, it’s a small, quiet, and peaceful town.
