My room was simple, clean, and got great airflow. There was no AC but the fan was quite strong. The owner greeted me with a juice and offered me breakfast every day. He checked in often, to ensure I had what I needed. He also offered me guidance on places where I could dine and activities to do. It's also located in a more local area, which I enjoyed.
I had a difficult time sleeping as there were mosquitoes getting into my room at night.

Der Host des Homestays ist ein extrem hilfsbereiter und netter Herr der einem auch gerne Tipps gibt, sei es die beste Option um von A nach B zu kommen oder welche Strände in der Nähe zu empfehlen sind. Durch die etwa 10 Minuten Fussläufige Entfernung des Apartments zum Surferstrand Dewata Beach und damit der Küste hat man Nachts seine Ruhe ohne dabei weit entfernt vom Geschehen zu sein. Das Schlafzimmer und Bad waren sehr sauber und ordentlich Ausgestattet.
Durch die heissen Temperaturen gepaart mit der extrem hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit ist es auch im Schlafzimmer Nachts warm und speziell wenn es geregnet hat auch etwas feucht/klamm. Das liegt vor Allem daran dass es in dem Apartment keine Klimaanlage gibt, was ich aber schon vorher wusste und dadurch auch nicht schlimm fand. Die Fenster lassen sich so öffnen dass ein gewissen Luftzug entsteht der es angenehmer macht. Deshalb auch kein grosses Problem.

The owner was as helpful as possible but she wasn't there, she was on holiday. The location is ok but quite a walk from Galle itself. The local area has a decent beach and a few nice restaurants. It was a very cheap price.
The first room was upper floor and had an 'open' style roof. There were huge cobwebs and lots of spiders just outside. The owner kindly moved us the next day after communication with her lady staff. Unfortunately, the room we were moved to was dirty. There was a mosquito net but no one could reach to place it. We paid in advance so we stayed. But I wouldn't stay here again unfortunately.
