Glenavys Waitaki River Motor Camp

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Glenavy Waitaki River Camping Ground. It was great being away from the hustle and bustle. Our cabin was warm and the beds were very comfortable. The facilities were beautifully clean. The owners of the camping ground were very welcoming. A lovely stay, couldn't have asked for more!

The inside of the room is generally clean.

The wife of the owner is racist, aggressive, and paranoid. This morning before I was going to leave, she saw my cat sitting in my car and started to yell at me that why you didn't tell me you have a cat. I told her that yesterday while I parked my car in front of your office, your husband's car was beside my car and my cat was sitting in front of the wind glass. He didn't see that? And your website wrote pet allowed. Moreover, my cat stayed in my car overnight and didn't enter your room. Wherever I traveled it always stayed in my car, your place was not the only one. I told her that you'd better tell your husband as you like and checked the room while I'm still here. Then she said may my cat poo some where. I told her that there was cat litters and toilet in my car and its poo and pee were in the plastic bag as evidence. If you like to see, I'd like to show you now. Then she said you travel to this country and shouldn't take a cat. That's so rude as I'm living in New Zealand and the resident in NZ. Did she say that just because I have an Asian face? I didn't complain about your shower time restriction is less than 5mins, but said that I wouldn't take a shower as I will drive to another place next day anyway. Her attitude really destroyed my day. I travel for relaxing not for seeing your weird behaviors and arguing for meaningless thing. She said I'll put this on booking, I told her I don't care if you wanna make story. My car is more clean than her room and my pictures showed its poo & pee and toilet with date and time.
