Confusion when we checked in. Booked with booking.com for superior room. Staff could not find our booking and tried to blame booking.com that they had changed our room. We never made such a request with booking.com. Stayed two nights, first night we had issues with the safe. We could not open it . All our valuables were inside the safe. Staff informed us that they did not know how to unlock the safe and we had to wait until 8am next day. No one turned up at 8am . We had to go to reception 4 times to ask where was the person who could open the safe. Each time we were told someone would turn up in two minutes. After the third time when we went to reception to complain we were told that the person was having breakfast. We couldn’t go to breakfast as we were waiting for someone to turn up. After the fourth request from us , someone turned up in a surly mood. It was after 9am before we could go to breakfast. Charging sockets were hanging out of the wall. Reception staff were not helpful. Customer service is poor. The hotel needs a new manager to sort out and train staff to be more responsive and not surly to deal with numerous day to day issues. When we were going through reception area many hotel guest were arguing with the reception staff.
