Paradise Villas Koh Rong Sanloem

The location on the beach was superb and it was on a lovely spot along the beach. The food was good and the people were helpful. We loved the outdoor shower, part-covered but nice to have a shower with the sunshine overhead and surrounded by flowering plants. Room was spacious, cabana style but with mozzie net, aircon and fan, we slept well.

Sometimes the kitchen was slow but the food was good.

No fridge in room or kettle facilities , not cleaned unless requested

On a beautiful quiet end of Saracen bay, about a 20-25 minute walk to the busier end. Staff assisted us to book tours for reasonable prices

They were only able to pick up in Saracen bay, no other bays which is where we got dropped off. We stayed for three nights and on the first night, the tap/shower and toilet water was extremely brown and had to be run for at least a few minutes before it ran clear. It wasn’t an issue for us as we aren’t afraid of lizards but we had a very big lizard that appeared to live in our villa.

The facilities r very basic . I am Ok w basic, but it was really more than rustic . The 1st bungalow we had was a garden bungalow and it was very uncomfortable . No AC, no hot water . Unfortunately it was not clean either . I understand it’s difficult to keep clean because the building is not well Insulated , but the mat on the floor was really dirty, clearly not washed for a long time .. Then we changed to an oceanfront bungalow which was better , but still the AC was not working properly . Either too hot or too cold . The bed sheets are some synthetic material Which are very uncomfortable in the heat … I Not really fussy , but I could not find the basic comfort standards here
