Muralee's Riverside Villa in Kochi

Spectacular view and lovely house we could ever find for this price. Couldn't ask for more. The place is away from hustle bustle of the city at the same time pretty accessible to the city and tourist places around. We found it very convenient to commute by Uber to fort Kochi for the work we had. Zomato and Swiggy services are available and this really helped us to order food at our finger tips, although there is a kitchen for cooking your own meals, however we chose to order since we were there just for a day. Overall we had a very comfortable stay, it was clean and well maintained.

There is nothing I can point in specific that I didn't like. Overall it was a good stay and we were happy about the stay and would love to stay again in future.

The location was great. Initially, the way to the property from the main road can make you little confusion but once you reach the property you will feel relaxing. Very quiet beautiful environment on the bank of a river, facing a temple. The house is not shared by anyone, the entire house can be utilized, which include 2 large air-conditioned, bath attached bed rooms, fairly large visiting room, large kitchen, 2 sit outs with ample surroundings & car parking facilities. All rooms are well ventilated and the windows and doors are protected with mosquito mesh. There is no moldy/ room freshener smell inside any rooms. It is provided with lot of furniture and cooking utensils. They also provide many facilities including Electric Heaters, Electric Kettle, LPG Cooking Range, Washing Machine, Electric Iron with ironing table, Television, Media player, free WiFi, Gaming equipment, Mountain bikes etc. Whole surroundings are under CCTV surveillance, the building has its own water tank and motor pump; Power inverter is provided. Actually I didn't expect these much facilities for such a low price, really enjoyed.

Actually it is not loyal to say negative comments regarding this property considering the facilities they are provided for such a low price. Still I would like to point out some areas of concern that I noticed (really not negative). 1) The floor tiles are little slippery 2) Except kitchen sink & in bathrooms, there is no wash basins in common area 3) For food, you have to cook yourself, or have to order from hotel (not expect homely food as in some other home-stays) 4) If you have small kids, there is plenty of space & equipment around the house for them to play, but should be under close supervision as the river is so close.
