Brilliant. 20 mins away from Mellau ski resort .

A washing machine would have been nice to have but it doesn’t take away from the excellent facilities the house has. I would say the steps up to the house could be challenging for someone with restricted mobility.

Beautiful location and fire pit (but bring your own sheets and towels!)

Casa Mia is perched on the side of a mountain overlooking a beautiful valley with access to great hiking trails and mountain huts. The fire pit (must bring wood) was a huge positive.

The details of the booking did not mention that you must bring your own sheets and towels. We learned this after we arrived at the house. The hotel down the street does rent sheets/towels for a reasonable fee. Also, parking is only allowed for two vehicles.

Excellent House with glorious mountain views

glorious views from the living rooms, terrace and balcony. The house was well and thoughtfully fitted out by an obviously caring host, and was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Kitchen well equipped - we used it a lot. Its a fairly winding mountain road to get there, but we soon got used to it and one of the compensations was proximity to some nice mountain walks. Our host (who was always easy to contact) made sure that we had all the available free tourist passes for the surrounding area. I would happily stay at this property again. NB. for supplies, suggest going into the huge SPAR supermarket in Dornbirn, a half hour drive away, and stocking up! Nearest SPAR (in Egg) is a modest outfit.

Only problem was a house being built on a site just below us -much noise over which our host had no control, of course. Still, with luck this will be finished soon (we were there in late August) and the place fully restored to blissful tranquility 24 hours a day!

Traumhafte Aussicht. Gut ausgestattete Küche. Gemütliche Einrichtung. Schöne Feuerstelle, ideal für Stockbrot und um sich, wenn der Abend kühler wird, am Feuer zu wärmen. Großer Kühlschrank. Der war uns wichtig, weil wir so immer ein bisschen auf Vorrat einkaufen konnten. Ein wunderbarer Ort um mit der Familie oder Freunden Urlaub zu machen.

We vonden de kussens slecht, en,je moet vanaf de auto nogal veel traplopen,om bij het huis te komen,voor oudere mensen niet te doen. Voor ons even wennen,maar je krijgt er wel wat voor terug!
