There are places you visit, and there are places that stay with you long after you’ve left. This is one of them. From the moment we arrived, Alfonso made us feel genuinely welcome. He is not just the owner he is the heart and soul of this place. Charming, kind, attentive, and a true host who welcomes every guest with warmth and sincerity. His calm presence creates an atmosphere where you instantly slow down and simply enjoy the moment. The food deserves every compliment imaginable. Every dish is prepared with care, passion, and authentic flavors. Without exaggeration, it was some of the best food we had during our trip. The location is breathtaking. The views are spectacular, the surroundings are incredibly peaceful, and if you’re looking for a place to truly unwind, this is it. Everything was also spotless and beautifully maintained, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Without any doubt, this is a place you should experience at least once. Alfonso’s hospitality, the outstanding food, and the beauty of this location completely stole my heart. One small tip for future visitors: if possible, arrive during daylight. The roads can be a little challenging to drive in the dark, but once you get there, you’ll realize it was absolutely worth the journey. Thank you, Alfonso, for creating such a special place. We will never forget it, and we hope to return again.

La locanda del pittore è stata una vera sorpresa.situata in un paesino pittoresco e davvero grazioso.Il locandiere Alfonso molto disponibile,cordiale e sempre attendo a soddisfare qualsiasi esigenza.la locanda si trova in un bel punto per poter visitare località sul lago maggiore,lago di Lugano e dintorni. Abbiamo soggiornato alla locanda x una settimana e tutte le sere dopo lunghe pedalate il sig.Alfonso ci faceva trovare una buona e semplice cena,sembrava proprio di essere in famiglia cosa che non è facile oggigiorno. Che altro dire...locanda consigliatissima ....e un grazie infinito all'oste ALFONSO
